The brilliant Blues\/Rock\/Soul singer\/songwriter Kirsten Thien has been hard at work recording a followup to her 2005 release “She Really Is” for Screen Door Records. Kirsten’s live band is playing on half the record, with Howlin’ Holf’s guitarist Hubert Sumlin and his band covering the other half. I’m sharing drum duties on the album with the legendary Steve Holly (Paul McCartney, Elton John, a zillion others).<\/p>\n
